TR-069 is a customer-premises equipment (CPE) WAN management protocol which allows remote management of end-user devices. The ability to perform massive software changes on field devices makes this protocol very useful for ISP organizations that rely on TR-069.
The usual process following a correct TR-069 configuration is that, internet connected customer-premises equipment (CPEs) will register with the auto configuration sever (ACS).
