How does the robot find its way back to the station you might ask?
The docking station emits infrared beams that serve as a beacon. Once the cleaning cycle is complete or if the battery runs down, the robot uses its onboard sensors to locate the infrared beams to find its way back to its docking station. You can manually connect the robot vacuum cleaner to a power outlet to charge if you do not have a docking station. In the event that the battery runs down prior to completing the cleaning cycle, the robot will abort the cleaning cycle and head back to the station to top up.
